Aris Technology Group, a long-standing client of our studio, has been a center of innovation in the field of information and communication technology for many years. We had the privilege of designing the visual identity for this forward-thinking company, whose work spans the development of diverse IT products and the delivery of comprehensive services to both large and small organizations, both within Iran and internationally. Aris has established itself as a leader through its expertise in implementing a wide range of open-source solutions, investing in research and development focused on cutting-edge global technologies, and developing next-generation IT products tailored to the evolving needs of organizations. In developing the brand identity for this company, we took a concept-driven approach that aligned closely with its three core areas of expertise: monitoring, security, and email services. To create a distinctive and memorable visual system, we designed a unique character for each division—each one inspired by a native species of Iran, symbolizing key attributes of the respective service.For the monitoring division, we chose the Iranian Tooska bird (a type of songbird known for its sharp vision and awareness), symbolizing observation, insight, and real-time responsiveness. For security, the Gando (Iran’s native crocodile) was selected, embodying power, protection, and resilience. And for the email service, we introduced the woodpecker, a symbol of persistence, communication, and precision.

In the design of the brand’s stationery set and catalogs, we drew inspiration from the symbols and motifs found on Iranian banknotes. Our goal was to evoke a sense of authenticity, security, and national identity throughout the design. To enhance this feeling, we carefully recreated the texture and printing effects of paper currency. Additionally, the graphic filters applied to the characters were crafted in harmony with this style, ensuring visual consistency across all brand elements.

These three mascots not only gave the brand a strong narrative and visual coherence but also helped humanize the technology, making it more relatable and engaging to users. The characters were developed in harmony with the overall visual identity system—color palettes, typography, and graphical elements—ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. By weaving native cultural and natural elements into the branding, we created an identity that feels rooted, intelligent, and emotionally resonant—while clearly distinguishing each product line under a unified brand umbrella.
